About me

HI, I'm Renaissa, a candidate who is a graduate student in MIS from NCCU. I graduated with major in DEDM (Department of E-learning Design and Management) and minor in MIS at NCYU. I'm a quick learner, and a person who likes to get in touch with new things.

My personality is easy-going and attentive, and I often spare no effort when the team needs it. When the discussion gets stuck, I will propose some ideas to break the deadlock. Because I think through the discussion and judgment of ideas, our team can quickly get better ideas. Furthermore, after the end of the internship in 2017, I also maintained good interaction with the intern company. And went back to cooperate on projects for more than a year from 2020, which is a recognition of my collaboration ability and work attitude.

School life

Due to the yearning for the information field, I minored in the Department of Information Management in university and participated in many related studies, such as Python data science and machine learning practical training courses, Taiwan Microsoft Coding Angels camp, etc., to improve my professional skills. In my senior year, I and my team members decided to choose to develop APP instead of designing digital textbooks as the graduation topic. In the process, I learned Android Studio and Java by myself, and our APP was honored to be ranked second among vendors in the school exhibition. And after the half-year exchange career ended, I was successfully admitted to MIS of NCCU.

During my master's degree, my research field is NLP, and I implemented many different machine learning models. In my second year of master's degree, I participated in "2020 AI Cup Competition on Medical Dialogue Decision : Deidentity Task" with my classmates, and reached the performance in the top 25%. In addition to the improvement of professional skills during the two years of the institute, my ability to find information, filter effective information and apply information has also been improved.

Extra-curriculum activity

In the process of studying, I also actively participated in various extracurricular activities. I used to be the deputy editor of NCCU Graduate Student Association, the assistant of the rural camp team, the host  and dance teaching of the DEDM Christmas party, etc. And I  also co-organized the first TED Talk in NCYU "Eclosion" with partners from various departments. This experience also enabled me to complete work manuals, plan staffing arrangements, and control stage when my intern company held the city forum "挺好Talk" (Ting-hao talk) later.
