Lean Operational Principles in Manufacturing

Koben Miceli is a respected presence in the Phoenix, Arizona community who serves Honeywell International as senior director and oversees various operations. Koben Miceli has two decades of manufacturing industry experience and holds a mechanical engineering degree earned at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

In the early 2000s, Mr. Miceli engaged with The Stanley Works in successful efforts to restructure a troubled $125 million division. He was responsible for boosting sales by $10 million and oversaw a major reduction in backorders while significantly improving overall service levels. His achievements also extended to improving the supply chain and daily financial systems.

From 2009 to 2013, Mr. Miceli served as Catalent, Inc.’s general manager in Houston, where he aggressively engineered a pharmaceutical packaging division turnaround. In addition to increasing sales and instituting financial accountability measures, he implemented numerous safety improvements. He also oversaw talent development efforts that motivated and rewarded high performers while emphasizing accountability.
