Leanne Tormey

Experienced Educational Advocate

As the founder of her own firm, Leanne Tormey draws on three decades of experience in the educational system. Throughout this time, Leanne Tormey has worked with numerous organizations and held a wealth of roles, with these being spread across schools and nonprofits.


Simultaneously, Leanne Tormey has experience with the Carver Center, an educational nonprofit based in New York. Serving as its Chief Learning Officer, she spearheaded the organization’s data collection and analysis processes. She also improved the overall process of delivering client services.
With the Carver Center, Dr. Tormey worked to address societal issues facing families in a diverse community. These included, food insecurity, immigration issues, issues related to acculturation, language acquisition and access to high quality child care.


With The Leanne Tormey Advantage, which she established in 2015, she leverages her expertise on behalf of children and families experiencing difficulties in the educational system. Through her work, Dr. Tormey has ensured enhanced personalized services for her clients, with the goal of generating the best possible services and individualized plans of support to meet the needs of children.
