- assist customer to solve issues they encounter when using EMC storage products, We will use Linux or script skills to test network connection, packet loss or latency issue. configuration issue or administration issue. We need to provide full solution of each issue by giving action plans step-by-step to make sure customer are able to recover critical data. Sometimes, we need to analyze logs to identify possible root cause and collaborate with other teammates.

- In terms of ways to contact customer, we normally use email or phone calls to contact if we need to know more details about issue or we need to provide our explanation to them.

sometimes we need to use remote desktop software to do online troubleshooting test. In some occasions, when customer feel anxious and they are under heavy pressure, we will need to comfort their feelings and communicate with field engineers or escalate to development team timely in order to provide effective action plan.
