I feel there is much more I can do than only coding. As an engineer-who-glad-to-speak, I'm not afraid of asking stupid questions, if it can make the whole task clearer to everyone. I am also good at communicating, persuading and explaining, which made a senior engineer accept a new role which he was unhappy to fit in before.

- Transferred 2 millions data and 8 millions files & images by SQL and ORM technique.
- Built a search engine by Elastic Search. Customized indexes with different columns. Used the aggregate feature of ES to construct post-classification results, making datas much more valuable.
- Built single-signed-on feature by JWT technique.
- Expand the django-import-export package, which make uploading batch datas in the background become possible and upgrade the user-experience.

- Built a Taiwan-map-data-browser by EL keyword searching mechanism.
- Design data table to record user clicks, downloads and other behaviors. Provides functions such as popular clicks, newest collections, online book fairs, etc.
- Personalize user experience, users can record retrieval strategies, favorite data, etc.

Duty:

Worked with a team of 18 coders to write maintainable code and maintain existing software to improve performance and fix bugs.
Consulted with clients to identify their projects’ specifications and follow up with deployed applications’ status and any technical issues.
Collaborating with the creative team, UI/UX designers, producers and directors to finish projects.
