Marjorie G Rosen

Experienced Horticulturist and Board Member 

A longtime member of the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG), Marjorie G. Rosen currently serves as a vice chair of the board of directors and heads the organization’s horticulture committee. Serving as a global representative with NYBG, Marjorie G. Rosen has traveled to parts of Asia, Europe, and South America. Concurrently, she is a member of the International Center of Photography and is serving as chair of the Acquisitions Committee. 


With her background in arts and science, Marjorie G. Rosen has the knowledge to bring communities and businesses together. As a board member with the Royal Oak Foundation, Ms. Rosen has toured public and private gardens throughout the United Kingdom with experts from the British horticulture community. In 1980, Ms. Rosen co-founded the private company Arts Britannia, Ltd., in London. While operating Arts Britannia, Ltd., she organized and led private and public tours to the home and workshop of royal silversmiths. Ms. Rosen returned to the United States two years later where she began designing and selling hanging garden containers in the 1990s. Some of her work was featured in Elle Décor. 


Marjorie G. Rosen graduated from Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Michigan State University and later received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.
