Martin Price

Managing Nationwide Consolidation at Alteon Health

In his most recent role as chief operating officer and general counsel for Alteon Health, LLC, Martin Price oversaw a complex, nationwide, corporate integration and turnaround process. Martin Price’s responsibilities centered on large-scale transformation that brought 10 multi-faceted businesses delivering Alteon health care services within one centralized platform.

Mr. Price actively addressed aspects of operations, such as governance, capital strategy, growth, M&A, and regulatory compliance. Constructing a consolidated management team, he implemented a national organizational structure and transitioned oversight of 10 regional offices into one centralized headquarters. This hub-and-spoke structure incorporated standardized contract templates for hundreds of employees, vendors, contractors, and hospital partners.

After completing his BA in philosophy and economics at George Washington University, Mr. Price went on to pursue an MA in economics at Duke University. His thesis was published in The Duke Journal of Economics (fall 1996) on the topic "Differences in Income Elasticities and Growth Rates in Industrial Economies: Consequences of Paul Krugman's 45-Degree Rule.” After earning his JD at the George Washington University Law School, he practiced corporate law in Washington DC and Los Angeles for more than a decade.
