Mary Catesby Halsey

The owner and manager of MCH Floral Studio in Manhattan, Mary Catesby Halsey has been managing gardens and/or selling and arranging flowers in New York City for well over a decade. She has particular expertise in the design and installation of floral arrangements for events and retail displays. In 2018 and 2019 Mary Catesby Halsey served as installation designer at the annual Macy's Flower Show.

Before establishing MCH in September 2018, Ms. Halsey co-owned and managed Spruce NY, a flower shop in Chelsea. She drew upon expertise in areas ranging from floral design to account management to spearhead the rejuvenation of this iconic shop. Her career as a florist has also included tenures as a manager with Hudson River Flowers and a designer with Banchet Flowers.

Outside of the professional sphere, Ms. Halsey serves as a member of a Parkinson's disease support group and a soprano in two local choirs. Her other hobbies include skiing, playing tennis, camping, and completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
