An accomplished educator, Mary Streshly lectures and teaches the course Policy, Law, and the Political Economy of Education as a part-time faculty member at San Francisco State University (SFSU). She previously spent 5 years as assistant administrator educational services with the Campbell Union High School District in San Jose. Mary Streshly has earned a number of professional distinctions over the course of her three-decade career in education, including Teacher of the Year honors at San Marcos Unified. She has also made several presentations, including a transformative leadership presentation at multiple AASA/ACSA Women in Educational Leadership meetings.
Ms. Streshly studied English at the University of California, Berkeley, where she played on the university’s PAC 10 softball championship team. After earning her bachelor’s degree, she completed a master of English education program at San Diego State University and a school administration program at Cal State San Marcos. More recently, she earned a doctor of educational leadership at SFSU.
