Matthew Eriksen IL

An experienced educator and administrator, Matthew Eriksen received a bachelor of science in education from Illinois State University and a master of arts in educational leadership from Northeastern Illinois University. He also holds a doctor of education (EdD) in educational leadership and organizational leadership from National Louis University - Chicago. Since 2018, Matthew Eriksen has led 4XF, Inc. as president and CEO, handling strategic planning, market research, and business development for the Northbrook, IL-based firm. 

Previously, Matthew Eriksen served as principal of both Edgewood Middle School and Indian Trail in Highland Park, IL. In this role, he created a zero-based budget, reduced unnecessary spending, and oversaw the performance of 68 staff members. Before that, he spent several years as associate principal of Edgewood Middle School. At Edgewood, he created a policy handbook for extracurricular activities and athletics and introduced a research team to improve communication channels with stakeholders. 

Outside of work, Mr. Eriksen enjoys outdoor activities such as playing golf, as well as listening to music and going to movies.
