Business:
Act as the main contact between buyers in Taiwan/Mainland China and international suppliers/traders to deal with coal selling, importing, and exporting for spot cargoes/term contracts (suppliers/traders are mainly based in Australia, Indonesia, Columbia, Cyprus, Russia, Singapore, and Switzerland)
- Able to settle 3-5 deals (spot/contract terms) per month, the range of the dealing amount goes from US$5,500,000 to US$9,500,000, case by case
- Understand how to negotiate relevant details when discussing coal-related offers between buyers and suppliers/traders (details including load/discharge rate, load/dis port, conditions of load/dis port, etc.)
Familiar with current international affairs related to the coal industry
Organize tender information of TCC, FPG, HPC, and TPC, also provide assistance when the suppliers/traders award the tender
Operation and Shipping:
Shipping and vessel monitoring for bulk carriers of coal for each deal
Familiar with basic knowledge of coal importing declaration in China; and coal exporting declaration from coal origin
Achievement:
Act as a broker/agent in a deal, able to assist both parties (buyers v.s. suppliers/traders) in offer-discussing, deal-making as well as contract-performing
Having participated in 20+ deals; the process of each deal may last around at least 1 month (case by case)
