LINE TAXI is a fast-growing (3-year average active user growth of 150%) taxi calling platform in Taiwan. Our teams are constantly dealing with challenges of scalability as we grow rapidly annually - processing millions of trips a year. I'm very excited and enjoy working in such a fast-moving environment.
- Generate extra income with about 300+ trips per day during the COVID-19 pandemic, by creating a food delivery service within 5 days, to create a win-win situation.
- Boost the overall rate of passengers checking out with a credit card by 80% after launching the automatic payment service.
- Responsible for developing the 30k DAU taxi requesting service and reward system with 2 talented frontend team members using React, Redux, Next.js, Socket.io, and styled-components.
- Improve customer satisfaction and increase our customer agent productivity by building a useful admin portal that saves the customer service team nearly 1 day of work each week.
- Evaluate and discuss the feasibility of requirements implementation with a 7 member team including PM, UI, UX, and Backend to find the best solution, prioritize the tasks, and complete the requirements.
- Collaborate with the Design Team to build internal shared UI components adhering to the Design System, maintain project design consistency, and prevent reinventing the wheel.
- Setup ESLint, Prettier, and husky to establish coding style guidelines and ensure code quality, which significantly decreases the code review time.
- Implement Cypress for End-to-End testing to cut down tedious and time-consuming manual testing and remarkably reduce the error crash rate in a production environment.
- Trace bugs and eliminate the problems through cloud monitoring services Datadog and Sentry.
- Initiated frontend workshops to share techniques and problems every Friday.
