Snapp Company is Iran's biggest platform for q-commerce and on-demand services. My mission at Snapp Express was to form a technical team and carry out a major transition operation from the Snappfood platform without even a single day of downtime and without any documentation for the legacy platform. The Legacy platform was moved to Kubernetes and an API gateway was added during the first steps of the transition. The final platform included more than 500 Kubernetes pods on more than 50 workers as well as a large MySQL cluster. We completed the mission successfully and tripled the daily order count about three months after the transition. Unlike most platform transitions, we did it as a child platform not as a parent platform.CTO
