Alexander Rekeda and a group of people who shared his values and a desire to make a difference in the world collaborated in 2022 to form the organization known as Unity for Freedom. After the invasion and subsequent battle in Ukraine, it became abundantly evident that more steps needed to be taken to ensure that resources and aid were successfully managed. The people of Ukraine receive needs such as food, housing, and water through Unity for Freedom, and the organization also contributes to attempts to reconstruct the country over the long term.
