Ergur's previous work experience includes the following positions:
YHAS's Senior Legal Counsel (2020-2021). He had a variety of responsibilities as in-house legal counsel for the Istanbul-based company, which included drafting and negotiating term sheets and purchase agreements, advising on banking and finance agreements, managing and coordinating external counsels pertaining to the firm's M&A and joint venture projects in more than eight jurisdictions around the world, and advising on banking and finance agreements.
Baker McKenzie is looking for a legal associate (2015-2019). A Legal Associate at the firm, Ali Can Ergur worked as part of the firm's Energy & Infrastructure and Private Equity practice groups. In this role, he was responsible for drafting numerous legal documents as well as providing advice to international buyers and sellers throughout the sale of both private and publicly traded companies.
White & Case LLP is looking for a trainee lawyer (2012-2013). While working as an attorney, Ergur was responsible for many different tasks, including the creation of due diligence reports, closing papers and resolutions as well as a slew of lawsuit and appeal petitions in connection with more than 250 tax litigation cases.
Ali Can Ergur was born in the Turkish capital of Ankara in 1990. Between 2007 and 2008, he was a student exchange student in Canada, where he stayed for two years. He spends his spare time playing jazz guitar and creating plastic scale models, which he finds quite relaxing.
