This is Betty LAM from Hong Kong, who has been living and working in Taiwan for over 6 years. As a graduate from the University (Bachelor) in the Netherlands and (Master) the UK, I am fully ‘multicultural’ and getting more considerate among different people. I think it’s very important to handle interpersonal relationships among customers as well as colleagues. Besides this, fast learning and adaptability can also be trained while handling everything by myself. Presentation skill is also mastered as a student overseas, stating clearly what my ideas are and marketing myself and my team for better results. After 6 years of participating in sports management (SM), I have been better knowledge about how to lead a team, of 4 most of the time, and more communicative and efficient for problem-solving. As a service manager and Foreign affair officer in SM not only drives me the ability of multitasking that deals with the interests as well as the conflicts among different parties but also train me to immediate response with languages switch (among Cantonese, Mandarin, and English) when needed. Moreover, being patient and endured is also necessary when handling issues from stakeholders during the tournament. Thinking thoroughly is another must in my previous job. Additionally, working in a Fintech Company as an Executive Assistant and project manager in Taiwan cultivates my adaptability to changes and further enhances my ability to communicate. Although I am kind of inexperienced in Project Management, I am willing and able to learn quickly plus my own knowledge and other related experience. Being fresh, to some degree, is another way to be creative and brave. It is such a wonderful thing to start a new thing and learn something different. If I can work in your company, I am definitely going to be effortful and bring my own color to light up, even just a bit, to the teams. I may not be the best, but I could be the best fit.
