A gifted entrepreneur, Bill Schantz is an accomplished Chief Executive Officer and business owner operating in the insurance industry. A resident of Moorestown, New Jersey, Bill Schantz owns and manages multiple companies under the umbrella firm Mid Atlantic Financial, LLC. These companies include Senior Settlements, LLC, which pioneered life settlements in the capital markets; Bedrock Capital Group, LLC, which is a private intrastate offering in the state of Florida; and Harper Financial, LLC, which is an insurance agency.
For all his companies, Mr. Schantz maintains oversight authority over everything from recruiting and training new staff to budgeting, marketing, product development, financial structuring, and regulatory compliance. With over 40 years experience in the insurance industry he has maintained crucial partnerships between his companies and leading actuarial, banking and legal firms within the investment banking arena. These partnerships include relationships with companies like Bear Sterns, Dresdner Bank, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, and others outside of the insurance industry.
Outside of work, Bill Schantz is a member of the Life Insurance Settlement Association. He regularly attends educational forums focused on structured finance and insurance linked assets. A philanthropist, Mr. Schantz and his companies have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities such as Noelle’s Light, Our lady of Good Counsel Church, Ronald McDonald House, Children's Hospital, Missionaries of the Poor, March of Dimes and others.
