Chayim Shvarzblat creates watercolor (aquarelle) paintings in his atelier in Manhattan. He uses the ‘pure’ watercolor technique, which is also called the ‘English Method’.
In his paintings, he uses no white. Instead, he leaves patches or spots of white paper unpainted in order to depict white objects or light.
Chayim achieves the color tones and atmospheric effects by using the ‘wash’ technique.
