Serial entrepreneur Chaz Berman has founded and driven numerous projects over three decades, generating millions of dollars in capital funding. His latest ventures include Grower’s Secret, Inc., which produces an energizer that stimulates organic plant growth, and Lojali, LLC, a developer of social media gaming products. As Chief Executive Officer and board member of Grower’s Secret, Chaz Berman led the company from start-up to revenue in 18 months. Based in San Francisco, the firm earned a spot as one of six to compete as Hawaii’s Best in Business Innovation. At Lojali, in transition from stealth technology to beta, he acts as Chairman of the Board. Also headquartered in San Francisco, the enterprise focuses on social media with a combination of gaming, entertainment, and loyalty. In addition, the business innovator acts as an advisor at BeeStripe, a direct marketing firm based in Honolulu. Chaz Berman graduated from Case Western University in Cleveland with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Art History and completed a Master of Science in Business Administration in Marketing and Human Resources at San Francisco State University. He began his career as Vice President of Sales for Willitts Designs, where he grew revenue from $1.5 million to $32 million. In his next position, as President and CEO of WineWrights Wine, Chaz Berman drove revenue in four years from $0 to $4.5 million. In 1994, he founded gourmet food and wine company GoodStuffs, a Petaluma, California, membership club. Subsequently, as Senior Vice President of Sales and Chief Operating Officer of MyPoints Inc., Chaz Berman assisted in taking the company public and garnering recognition as one of the best initial public offerings of the year in 1999. His other start-ups include UniPrivacy, doing business as DeleteNow, winner of a DEMOgod award in 2005, and Member Devotion Marketing, Inc., which provided marketing services and software. Chaz Berman holds memberships in the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the California Academy of Sciences, the Contemporary Jewish Museum, The Commonwealth Club of California: San Francisco, and The Sports Club/LA-San Francisco.
