Christopher Lord San Francisco also had a trustee position on the board of the Glide Foundation, an organization well-known across the country for its work in the areas of social justice and fairness. The Glide Foundation helps those who are battling homelessness, poverty, and other problems in an effort to profoundly improve people's lives. Glide provides a variety of initiatives that help make San Francisco a more inviting city where people may have safe, fulfilling lives. Lord gave his time to serve as a Trustee for the Posse Foundation as part of his commitment to guaranteeing that everyone has access to education and opportunity. Posse has provided full-tuition scholarships and mentoring to a select group of students for the past 30 years, helping remarkable future leaders. Posse Scholars are suggested by local governments and academic organizations. The selected students are able to enroll at top universities tuition-free thanks to the collaboration between the school and the Foundation.
