• Payments platform modernization. Implemented an automated functional testing framework integrated into the CI pipeline for the Payment Release Service. This cut the testing time from 1 day to under 30 minutes. • Worked on Kafka Connect Rest Endpoint security. • Indexing and serving Viva topics suggestions in Outlook web reducing the p95 query formulation latency from 3 seconds to < 100ms. • Implemented M365 tenant index replication, saving $2,000,000 in annual server costs. • Near real-time synchronization of M365 Contacts, Calendars, Teams Chats, and Teams Channels to Cortana, resulting in more contextual speech experiences. • Integrated App commands into search enabling the user to perform actions such as turning on dark mode from the search box in Outlook Mobile. • Enhanced the Microsoft search performance testing environment by implementing a way to route a proportion of traffic to that environment for performance validation. • Designed experiments for each of the features and new entities I introduced to search, measuring user metrics like coverage and session success as well performance metrics like latency. • Contributed to open-source Clean Architecture solution, making it work on Mac and Docker -https://github.com/ardalis/CleanArchitecture • Fixed bugs in the core indexing library used for enterprise search. • Participated in Microsoft ADC community events and programs: LEAP for senior engineers and Game of Learners (GoL clinics) for early-stage engineers. • Conducted technical interviews for engineers joining various teams in Microsoft ADC. • On-call engineer responsible for the system health of the tenant shard. • Redesigned the dispatch application as a reactive microservice using Akka. • Indexing and serving orders using Solr. • Pioneering leadership, led the first cross-functional product development team, working with mobile, backend, and web software engineers, a UI/UX designer, and a product manager. • Worked with various stakeholders to assess product readiness for the Uganda market as Sendy prepared to set up in Uganda. • Coordinated the technical preparation for Sendy Uganda expansion.
