「蚵仔寮」漁港位於高雄市梓官區的信蚵村，以前是一個南台灣知名度不高的漁港、養蚵捕魚為生的小漁村，近年來，在地方青年及政府的努力下，成功地從傳統漁村轉型為觀光漁港及魚市場。攤販多屬於傳統零售攤販，仍以叫賣方式招攬生意，每週末之人潮及營業額會隨著天氣及其他無法掌控之因素而震盪(如：節慶、連續假日、市區有大型活動)，因此攤販備料多寡永遠只能憑經驗判斷，無法精準掌握。本研究之目的是欲協助攤商們在此不景氣的大環境中，能依據「客觀數據」判斷，調整人力物力配置，減少進貨成本支出，進而增加營收。
