To prepare for her planned career in dentistry, Daria Klemick participated in The Private Practice Experience, in East Islip, NY. This program offers the opportunity for high school and college students to gain a real-life glimpse into the private practice aspect of dentistry. At The Private Practice Experience, she learned from lecturers, presentations, and hands-on exercises. To further gain experience in the field of dentistry, Ms. Klemick completed an internship at Summit Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Summit, New Jersey, during the summer of 2019. Apart from her educational endeavors, Ms. Klemick has trained in traditional Ukrainian dance since she was a young girl. In 2008, she began attending the Roma Pryma Bohachevsky Ukrainian Dance Camp at the Soyuzivka Ukrainian Heritage Center in Kerhonkson, NY. She eventually served as a counselor and dance instructor at the summer camp. Furthermore, Ms. Klemick has been featured on the PBS series “Bare Feet,” hosted by dancer and traveler Mickela Mallozzi, during an episode filmed about the Ukrainian Village in Manhattan, NY.
