Derrick May's impressive career trajectory helped him prepare for his role as president and CEO of Optimum Energy Partners. May worked in the financial industry at a number of well-known Dallas firms prior to joining Optimum in 2021. This included six years with Melody Capital, managing director of Casimir Capital, financial analyst at CoreTerra Operating, and corporate secretary at TransCoastal Corporation.
