Dr. Shamim Patel is a superb practitioner who specializes in OB/GYN care for women of all backgrounds. Dr. Shamim Y. Patel MD knew she wanted to help people since she was a child. She just needed to figure out how to do it best. She eventually combined her love of science with her desire to help people by enrolling in medical school. She attended an excellent undergraduate institution before enrolling at Chicago's Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in OB GYN at the University of Illinois Chicago after graduating from medical school.
