I founded the company with my cofounder and we raised initial funding from over 800 customers with just a concept. I then designed an IOS native app that was tested by 1200 customers and worked with a developer agency Devvela Inc. to deploy the app on Testflight. I was responsible for all of the Fitness UI, game mechanics, and in-game assets.
Later on, we grew the company to 14 members and I took on a project management role where I directly hired artists, developers, writers, and community managers through Upwork.
From there we raised another $90,000 on Kickstarter and gained notable press. I was responsible for designing the game's UI and handing it off to developers while we worked directly in Unity. The game continued to earn revenue and at its peak had over 10k DAU.
