I am Edward (Ta-Cheng, Chang), and currently worked at VesCir as director in AI and software division from January 2020. As a director, I have experiences on communication, negotiation, and integration of the resources from internal AI team, third party backend team, and international mobile APP team. For the first year(2019) in VesCir, I developed numbers of AI/ML algorithms and models with python, tensorflow and MS SQL, then deployed all the algorithms and models as Flask based API on AWS. About my thesis, I built an intelligent monitoring system based on Fog computing architecture to detect anomaly events in surroundings. With hierarchical and distributed computer vision analytic structure, the performance of real-time response could be validated. I have previously completed internship of distributed machine learning algorithm engineer at EDGE Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University. Co-worked with a 4-people team, we built a decomposing data analytics IoT system with Raspberry Pi and Amazon’s Cloud, realizing a hierarchical testbed in fog network to quantify all key features in distributed data analytics structure, such as latency, quality and costs. ＊Seeking for a full-time position related to my interests fields. ＊Interests fields: Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Fog/Edge computing and Networking (5G/6G), Distributed data analytics system and algorithm design, IoT system design ＊Familiar with: 1.
