Responds to Emergency medical call.
Receive and collects details of calls requesting an ambulance on a computerized screen.
Trained to assess the type of emergency, determine what response is needed and if appropriate, advise to send ambulance, rapid-response car, or even paramedic helicopter on the scene.
Oversee direct patient care requirements within the ambulatory program.
Develop and implement nursing care plans and Assess patient’
s condition, make a decision on treatment and administer it where appropriate i.e. used of defibrillators, spinal and traction splints, and intravenous dips as well as administering oxygen and drugs.
Ensure open lines of communication, accurate charting
procedures, update computerized patient data.
Assists patience to and from routine hospital admissions.
