I have over 5 years' experience while at the forefront of Research, Monitoring & Evaluation, Project
Management & data management with USAID funded projects, Government and Non-Government entities in rural development, economic empowerment, HIV, SRH, child protection and livelihood
projects. Over the years, I have gotten experience in the following areas :
1. Designing and working with logical models (TOC, Results Frameworks and Log Frames)
2. Designing and working with MEAL planning tools (Outcome and impact surveys
Performance management plans, Indicator Tracking sheets / Tables, Feedback-and-
response mechanism flowcharts, learning plans, MEAL work plans and Evaluation Plans) .
3. Collecting MEAL data (Ensuring data quality, collecting both quantitative and qualitative
data, designing both online and offline user-friendly data entry screens, databases and dashboards)
4. Analyzing MEAL indicator data (quantitative data analysis and enhancing data
visualization to generate meaningful findings and finally support the drafting of progress
and Narrative reports) .
I am passionate about learning new data management systems and platforms but confident in government systems like HMIS, DHIS2 , Uganda EMR, PEPFAR & HIBRID tools, OVCMIS and also other data management and communication platforms like Google sheets, MS Excel, KoBo Collect, SPSS,
Epi Info, MS Access, data wrapper and finally knowledge in EGMA / EGRA tools.
I am very result-oriented, a team leader known for using data to influence programming and facilitate accountability, learning, and adaptation.

Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator
ICYD Activity under Youth Alive Uganda.
I am responsible for working with the M&E Manager to provide leadership and technical guidance to the project team on all M&E related issues. I am also in charge of establishing and managing a data processing system including tracking project performance and proving recommendations for
improvement in implementation. My key Duties and responsibilities are : Coordinating the development and implementation of a monitoring, evaluation, and learning
framework for the project and ensuring data systems established can measure progress
against impact.
Coordinating the implementation of M&E processes, systems, and guidance including leading
the design and rolling out of reporting initiatives of the project.
Conducting training for partners and staff in the use of the M&E systems and tools for
indicator data collection, record-keeping and performance monitoring.
Consolidating monitoring data for reporting against the performance indicators for donor
reporting and internal program review.
Reviewing and analyzing project monitoring data and generating user-friendly analyses
thereof, including the use of graphics.
Providing M&E support to the senior management team for the compilation and completion
of donor reports.
Carrying out data quality assessments, vulnerability assessments, beneficiary verifications
and any assessment and audits that improve program quality.
Monitoring & Evaluation Manager
Uganda
As the program, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager at FLAMA Uganda, I was responsible for providing technical support to strengthen the M&E system, manage project data and Enhance
Learning. The following were my Roles and responsibilities
Conducting all project Evaluations for FLAMA Uganda and its Projects.
Taking Lead in designing M&E Plans, drafting all data capture tools and designing data bases for all
project data.
Coordinating the implementation of M&E tools, including training and support for relevant project
staff and volunteers on M&E, data collection and analysis, basic surveying and sampling techniques
and support data analysis and usage.
Taking Lead in drafting of Donor narrative reports, Indicator Tracking sheets, and Work plans for
Monitoring Evaluation Officer
While as a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, I was tasked to carry out the following roles.
Gather and review performance data to produce accurate analyses and reports using MIDES system,
a prototype of DHIS2
Support the development of a monitoring, evaluation, and learning framework for the program
ensuring data systems established can measure progress against impact.
Support the implementation of all ongoing M&E processes, systems, and guidance, including leading
the design and rolling out of reporting initiatives of the program
Update and review the Activity Monitoring & Evaluation Plan AMEP on an annual basis to ensure
all M&E needs and requirements are documented and adhered to.
Maintenance of databases and conduct periodic data quality assessments and reviews to ensure
accuracy and consistency in the data entered.
Formulate and manage plans and systems focused on targeted outcomes
Support training facilitation for partners and staff in the use of the M&E systems and tools for record -
keeping and collecting monitoring data
Consolidate monitoring data for reporting against the performance indicators for donor reporting and
internal program review
Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant
The following were my roles and responsibilities
Prepare consolidated progress reports, reports on M&E findings for project management and guided
the regular sharing of the outputs of M&E findings with project staff, implementing partners and
primary stakeholders using Excel, DHIS2 & MIDES
participate in relevant meetings quarterly review meetings, internal review meetings at national and
sub-national levels and shared outputs and experiences of the project
Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation
plan to ensure the achievement of project targets and to inform quality control of project activities
Conduct review meetings with the district in charges to share the performance and different targets
Design and manage the databases for all monitoring and evaluation activities in relation to the project.
Review and analyze project monitoring data and generate user-friendly analyses thereof, including
the use of graphics.
Data Officer
The following were my roles and responsibilities
Lead and enable functions of the monitoring and evaluation learning department at the district and
health facility level.
Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly supplementary data not reported in DHIS2 and submitted it
to the RHITES-EC Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning unit on time.
Work closely with the facility records officers to mentor and coach other health workers on
appropriate use of HMIS, DHIS2 data quality checks, OPENMRS and data collection tools for data capture.
Perform data analysis on data from HMIS data to inform RHITES-EC cluster based teams on the
progress of interventions at the supported facility
Ensure that the entered data are backed up regularly and the data are well protected
