在加法和乘法之轉換問題中，花費在對數和指數的計算時間可能比問題本身更多，在本文中我們以中國郵差問題和最小生成樹為例計算它的減少量:中國郵差問題為一圖論問題，其問題的目標是在一連通的無向圖中尋找到一個通過圖中所有邊並回到出發點的最短路徑，而最小生成樹為一連接連通加權無向圖上所有頂點之子圖，而乘法中國郵
差問題和乘法最小生成樹為尋找最小乘積而非最小和。

在研究所的主要研究內容為演算法中的圖論及理論部分，論文的研究主題為：論最佳化問題上和與積之一般性轉換。
  論文中以Python實作中國郵差問題及最小生成樹(MST)為例研究其在轉換為乘性問題的時間比例，模擬資料以生成Erdős-Rényi random graph並找出其中國郵差路徑和MST並轉換之時間，實作中國郵差路徑使用blossom algorithms，當中matching問題花費大部分的實作時間。
