JUDGE MEGAN GOLDISH OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF COOK COUNTY
With 17 years of legal experience and 6 years as a judge, Megan Goldish has served as a judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County Domestic Violence Division since 2014. In this role, Judge Megan Goldish presides over criminal, civil, felony, and misdemeanor domestic violence matters in courtroom bench and jury trials. She also conducts hearings for emergency orders of protection and oversees status calls concerning the compliance of conditions of supervision or probation.
In addition to her work as a judge, Megan Goldish is an adjunct instructor at her alma mater, Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. She also serves as an evaluator for the school's moot court competitions and has been a featured speaker on domestic violence law at DePaul University.
Complementing her experience, Judge Goldish is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and has served on its Criminal Law Committee, Alliance for Women Committee, and Nominating Committee, among other committees. She also supports several regional and national nonprofits, including the Chicago Lighthouse For the Blind, the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago, Camp for All Kids, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Navy SEAL Foundation.
