Various positions at the United Nations in New York (2006-2011 and 2014) and Côte d'Ivoire (at the peacekeeping mission UNOCI 2011-2012) with growing levels of responsibility. Among others, was picked in 2014 to work in Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's office, part of a small team (6 professionals) coordinating, reviewing, vetting and approving all political, peacekeeping, human rights and humanitarian-related information going to and from the Secretary-General. Prior to that, worked in the Office of the ASG for Rule of Law and Security Institutions of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) for two years and as Special Assistant to the Director of the Africa II Division of DPKO for two years. Main responsibilities in both roles included: drafting, reviewing and editing daily strategic and operational correspondence; ensure coordination between units; managing human resources; ensuring smooth day to day organisation of the office.
