從小熱愛漫畫，家人不準看，所以和哥哥與姊姊偷租漫畫回家閱讀，不時被抓到痛打一頓。愛看漫畫也就愛塗鴉，高中很自然選擇就讀復興商工美工科，學習雕塑、金工、插畫、油畫、炭筆畫等技藝。高中三年級分組製作畢業展，有了首次團體合作的經驗，擔任組內的插畫，以及文案的發想。作品獲選參加新一代設計展。個人方面，海報設計曾獲得佳作，畢業後參加瑪丹娜插畫比賽以及BenQ設計獎，皆獲得優選。
