I also drafted a guidance document for actors in the plastics value chain and plastics pollution action space on how to mainstream gender and human rights into their institutions and programs. The role includes advising National Gender Advisors on how to translate the global Gender Strategy into national-level action as well as supporting national level actions to assist informal waste-pickers to access social protection and decent work conditions.

Authored three reports with recommendations on independent contractors, temporary work agencies and part-time work in order to Inform the Review on employment law and practice in other jurisdictions. The latter report formed the basis of a recommendation by the Review to introduce pay parity for full and part-time workers which led to a labour law amendment in Ontario in 2017.
