Ken Hurley joined the American Red Cross after leaving Penske, where he remained for two years. Leading the first-ever national contract with a union coalition representing ARC employees was one of his greatest achievements. He received much recognition from ARC throughout his tenure here, particularly for his capacity to mentor and develop labor relations leaders. Hurley left better and more intelligent leaders in every place he worked. Therefore Hurley's education was something that all other employers noticed and celebrated.
