Kishor Wasan was a tenured professor and assistant dean of research at the University of British Columbia until 2014. Dr. Wasan has a long history of engagement in the creation of innovative research and educational programs, with over 520 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts published in prestigious journals. During his 19 years of independent research at UBC, he has proved his ability to lead research efforts. Wasan earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin and a doctorate in cell and molecular pharmacology from the University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Kishor Wasan has worked as a pharmacist in both retail and hospital settings, and he continues to have a Texas pharmacist license.
