Based in Albany, New York, Michael Fish is a Northwestern Mutual financial advisor who provides client-centered services spanning financial risk management and wealth accumulation. Knowledgeable about tax advantaged retirement pathways and insurance planning, Michael Fish works with small business owners as well as individuals of high net worth. Having grown up in the Capital Region, Mr. Fish earned his bachelor’s degree in political science at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. He served as vice president of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity and was also active with the political science honor society Pi Sigma Alpha. His community involvement extends to volunteering with the Special Olympics and with the nonprofit Journey into Reading. He has also pursued estate planning studies at Albany Law School. Mr. Fish had the opportunity to intern with Northwestern Mutual while still a college student, and earned a top five ranking among 3,500 interns nationwide for 2018-2019. His current responsibilities include overseeing and mentoring three new intern financial advisors. In his free time he enjoys activities such as travel and exploring the outdoors.
