Michael Salvadore Lynch Jr. has a long history of contributing to charitable organizations in the United States and worldwide. Because of his strong desire to help others, he became involved with large nonprofits like United Way Worldwide and smaller, community-based groups. He has achieved great success in the corporate world, but that is not all he has accomplished. In addition, he enjoys contributing to others and assisting those in need. At the University of Texas at Austin, the College of Natural Sciences encourages students to seek answers to the big issues of life through research and exploration. It presently allows students to pursue one of fifteen different majors, as well as dozens of other programs of study. Michael of Gaston County, NC graduated first in his class from the University of Texas after completing a highly regarded honors thesis in the College of Natural Sciences. He still has strong ties to the University of Texas, evidenced by his frequent promotion of UT-related activities outside of Austin in Travis County.
