a well-reviewed book of reportage about how caste, class, and marriage impact womens' lives in India. The Washington Post wrote, “Kennedy explores India’s growing pains as globalization clashes with centuries of tradition ...this tension comes alive in the stories of three women whom Kennedy befriends and chronicles.” It was a “Hot Read of the Week” at the Daily Beast, which said, “Sideways on a Scooter is as much a sharp social commentary as it is a compelling, humorous travel memoir.” • Collaborator, "How’s Your Faith? • Created and acted in the role of Morning Edition assignment editor for two years, leading the idea generation, pitching and booking process; mentoring and training staff in scripting; and shepherding staff through the editorial process • Led editorial trainings for staff and created processes to manage across multiple shifts • Planned, wrote, and edited news and feature segments for air, including some of our most ambitious projects: a lengthy reporting trip across China; live coverage of the 2016 Republican National Convention; several live audience, host reporting “Divided States” 2016 campaign projects; and live coverage of the aftermath of the 2015 Paris attacks
