Includes repair and maintenance of 120 miles of roadway and rights-of-way, 130 miles of sanitary sewer and storm sewer collection systems, fleet and vehicle maintenance, collection and disposal of residential solid waste, as well as operations and improvements to six separate facilities throughout the Village. Maintained entire urban forest and coordinated trimming and removal with contractors and outside utilities.

Perform detailed evaluation of building systems and structures to determine maintenance schedules and develop a capital improvement plan. 

Implement facility and systems improvements to maximize energy use and efficiency. Conduct routine safety inspections on systems and equipment to assure compliance with federal, state, and local standards. 

Develop short, mid-range, and long-range plans to effectively maintain and operate facilities and equipment by putting together preventative and predictive maintenance plans, tracking City inventory, determining and tracking equipment replacement dates, performing annual condition inspections, , developing work orders, preparing inspection documentation, developing annual maintenance work plans for staff, maintaining City development master plan, and formulating facility budgets.

 safety requirements.
