The year 2022 saw him competing in the U.S. Senior Amateur at the Kittansett Club and the British Senior Amateur at Royal Dornoch Golf Club, Scotland. Hoit's recent achievement includes representing the United States in The Bridges Cup in South Korea, where the U.S. team emerged victorious against an international ensemble of top amateurs.
