I am a customer oriented ex hotelier who switched to the tech industry due to the pandemic. I have a strong interest in technology especially in computing, both hardware and software. I left the hospitality industry in late 2021 and started exploring the tech industry. After careful consideration I decided to pursuit cloud solution architect as my future career role. This role combines technology with customer service and communication which is an idea mix for my interest and background. I am currently employed as a solutions architect focusing on providing solutions with AWS. My main role is to perform immersion days to help our clients understand AWS better and hold WA sessions with clients to improve their system security. For the last 6 months I was assigned to be the TAM of one of our VIP MSP client and was responsible to ensure they have a smooth daily operation. I also work closely with AWS pro-service team through out the migration process of this client to achieve a smooth handover. This past year in the tech industry was both challenging and fun for me and I do continue to seek opportunities to further develop my skills.
