Megan Erasmus

Megan Erasmus earned a bachelor of arts in psychology and a master of arts in mental health counseling from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC, where she received a Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) grant and a Rotary Scholarship Award. Early in her career, she served as a therapist and deafness specialist at Seattle Children’s Hospital, followed by several years as student development facilitator at the Santa Fe School for the Deaf. In the latter position, Megan Erasmus evaluated students’ academic and emotional needs, co-facilitated group therapy, and communicated with teachers and guardians regarding students’ progress.

From 2017 to 2020, Ms. Erasmus oversaw program operations and outcomes for the National Deaf Hotline. Since 2017, she has also served as chief innovation and brand officer for National Deaf Therapy, a virtual therapy platform that aims to remove cultural and language barriers for deaf individuals seeking therapy. In addition to directing marketing and research efforts to inform new services, Ms. Erasmus reviews financial reports and communicates with shareholders and key partners.

Megan Erasmus maintains membership in the National Association of the Deaf and the American Counseling Association.
