I have 2 years worth of experience caring for rescued farm animals such as horses, goats, and pigs and over 6 years of experience in customer service and administration assistance. I take pride in serving others and I am looking to gain further knowledge and experience in the veterinarian field while I attend school for my Associates Degree in Veterinarian Technician studies. My attention to detail and self-starter attitude has allowed me to complete tasks and projects with little to no supervision. I am responsible for caring for rescue animals from kill pens such as horses, goats, and pot-belly pigs.
Most animals come sick and/or injured, so I administer medicines, supplements, etc. and also attend to any injuries. I clean the barnyard and all applicable stalls and buildings. I feed, water, and groom. I assist with farrier and vet services as well. Most of my duties are completed unsupervised.
