Mehul Gadhia

Acclaimed Periodontist

Drawing upon nearly 15 years of experience, Dr. Mehul Gadhia is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based periodontist who also holds dentistry licenses in Florida and South Carolina. He has been practicing at PerioCare with partner Dr. H. Nelson Eddy since 2006, and has been recognized as a Top Dentist by Charlotte Magazine every year since 2007. In addition, Dr. Mehul Gadhia is the founder and president of the 106-member dentist group South Charlotte Study Club.

Complementing his experience in periodontics, Dr. Mehul Gadhia is a member of multiple professional membership groups, including the North Carolina Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Southern Academy of Periodontology. He also authored the article "A New Implant Design for Optimal Esthetics and Retention of Interproximal Papillae" for the Implant Dentistry publication.

Dr. Gadhia holds a master's degree in periodontology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his doctor of dental medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He also holds a bachelor's degree in microbiology and biology from the University of Central Florida. He worked at Subway while pursuing his bachelor's degree, and was robbed and shot in the head while working one night, but persevered and overcame this and other challenges throughout his life.
