Experience

Software Manager  •  SYNCELL

Aug 2021 - Present

Spearheading the software development for the next-generation advanced instrument "Microscoop," involving the design and integration of software for microscopy peripherals and optical engines. Combining traditional image processing, AI, and automated processes to achieve efficient and precise in situ photolabeling.

Leading the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement interviews to software architecture design, implementation, and integration of various hardware components, third-party libraries, and AI. Successfully delivered the cutting-edge Microscoop control software within a limited timeframe.

Proposed a highly precise and visualized laser calibration verification method, and implemented it as a software feature. This enables the rapid identification of laser calibration offsets and energy uniformity deviations, significantly enhancing the efficiency of both the maintenance team and the biological research and development team.

Collaborating with cross-disciplinary experts in the development of next-generation products, conducting feasibility assessments, and providing software-oriented recommendations. Continuously optimizing system performance and enhancing user experience.

Managing and directing a team to accomplish company objectives, establishing work schedules, priorities, and facilitating communication and coordination across departments.

Providing comprehensive user support, translating customer feedback into new requirements, implementing timely hotfixes, offering remote support, and troubleshooting guidelines. Responsible for reviewing and modifying user manuals.

Senior engineer  •  MiTAC

Mar 2015 - Aug 2021

I have extensive experience in the construction of AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) system.
Especially in charge of developing and maintaining a TVM (ticket vending machine), including:

-Automation equipment system integration:

Integrate various hardware such as coin processor, banknote acceptor, CSC reader, card dispenser, ticket dispenser, tag reader, printer, uninterruptible power system, etc., into software controlled automated processes.

Design man to machine interfaces, safety warning features and equipment maintenance functions, connected with back-end systems to send transaction data.

According to different requirements and peripheral equipment, the scope covers: hardware communication protocol, automated process design, ticket processing, exception handling, MMI control and prompts, etc.

-Multi-card ticket system integration:

Integrate contactless smart card(CSC) formats and APIs from different ticket companies to provide a simple and consistent interface for high-level applications.

Content development includes card reader and ticket security authentication, online value addition, offline value addition, card writing and error recovery, card replacement detection and card reader status detection, etc.

-Issue analysis:

If an abnormality without a verified cause occurs for projects that have been put into operation,  log analysis is used to restore user operation behavior and equipment operating status.

Precisely define the problem as a human error, hardware error, or a software problem.

Repair and optimize the system according to derivative requirements such as user habits and machine characteristics.
