Head of Wells Fargo Advisors’ Brewster Financial Strategies Group, Michael Brewster is a native of Longford, Ireland. He studied management finance at the Athlone Institute of Technology in Dublin before immigrating to the United States in 1989. Michael Brewster subsequently attended Thomas Edison College in Trenton, New Jersey, where he secured his bachelor of arts in business administration in just 2 years.

Mr. Brewster served 16 years with Lehman Brothers, and also spent 8 years with Credit Suisse Securities. Over the past 4 years, he has personally managed three active Brewster Financial Strategies Group portfolios: MB Value and Growth, MB Strategic Dividend and Income, and MB Small Mid-Cap and Special Situations.

He sits on administrative boards for the USA Foundation, the Ireland US Council, the Irish International Business Network, and the National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG). He also spearheads stateside advisory and fundraising activities for the Gaelic Players Association.
