Michael Chera

New York Real Estate Professional

Michael Chera, a native of New York City, studied accounting at two local institutions, New York University (NYU) and Saint Francis University. He began his academic career at NYU. After one year at the institution, he transferred to Saint Francis University for another year of accounting studies. At both schools, Michael Chera maintained a 4.0-grade point average.

While still attending school, Mr. Chera joined Sterling Asset Management in New York. He currently serves the firm as managing partner in charge of all real estate transactions and leasing operations. This includes real estate financing and the lease negotiation process. In addition, Mr. Chera oversees construction projects that Sterling Asset Management undertakes around the city.

In his free time, Mr. Chera enjoys a variety of hobbies. He is fond of outdoor activities, such as fishing and running, and also maintains an interest in cars and music. Further, he is actively involved in local charitable and community organizations. Mr. Chera donates to programs supporting inner-city youth around New York and gives to Mount Sinai Hospital. Active in the professional community, he also regularly attends real estate conventions.
