Michael Parentis MD

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Michael Parentis, MD, earned his secondary education at the Nichols School in Buffalo before matriculating to Yale University where he earned a BS. Gaining admission to the University of Rochester School of Medicine, Dr. Michael Parentis earned his MD and then completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Pennsylvania State University’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. After completing his residency, he continued his medical training at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, Ca where, from 1999 to 2000, he served as a fellow of sports medicine. He then went on to Greater Chesapeake Orthopaedic Associates where he completed a foot and ankle fellowship.


Moving back to New York, Dr. Michael Parentis established Western New York Knee and Orthopaedic Surgery, where he serves as an orthopaedic surgeon. There he is responsible for patients' surgical care as well as orthopaedic pathology, providing medical care in offices in Williamsville and Orchard Park, New York. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
