Team to spearhead Elixir backend in Taiwan. My role was to provide training material, advise on backend team's technical issue, and participated in architectural decision of new client project under in-house framework. 

Started my own business. Zazaar aimed to be a live-streaming marketplace – built on WebRTC service and Phoenix backend. Being the founder, I handled all aspects of running a business aside from product development. Some of these tasks included: contracting designers, conducting user interviews, and searching for potential investors. Before winding down the project, I had pivoted Zazaar to a SaaS, focused on serving Facebook Livestream sellers.

Backend tech stack included Elixir, Phoenix, Postgres, and hosted on AWS. My experience being in an early stage startup meant that we were responsible for all features, as well as taking part in development. I worked mostly on Job and Marketplace related features – defining job schema, marketplace sorting and filtering (ie. geofencing). I also was in charged of system wide authentication and authorization.

Taipei R&D team. I had built and maintained core insurance billing integration system. I had worked within a hard deadline cooperating with the American billing expert team during the development period. Aside from supporting the main SaaS service, I took part in the microservices migration discussion, and prototyping. GraphQL was introduced as part of the effort.  

Freelance. Project stacks including Ruby on Rails, Phoenix, React, GatsbyJS, and Wordpress. Projects ranging from simple landing page, part manufacturer's catalogue, to Startup product prototyping.

Begun career as junior developer writing full stack rails application for a golf score tracking startup. I have been through multiple roles in different companies since. Roles includes DBA / BE for an online gambling company, full stack developer for a parenting forum startup.
